The Mishawaka-Penn-Harris Public Library has introduced its first Bookmobile to expand access to reading materials.
The mobile library will visit senior centers and schools in underserved areas across Penn and Harris Townships.
Library leaders say the program aims to reconnect with residents who may not be able to visit library branches, particularly following disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Bookmobile will operate out of a newly built garage near a Mishawaka fire station.
