A two-vehicle crash in Elkhart County sent two people to the hospital.
The collision happened around 2:20 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, at the intersection of County Road 3 and County Road 52.
Police say a Chevrolet Trailblazer, driven by a 24-year-old Nappanee woman was traveling west on County Road 52 and stopped at a stop sign. Investigators says she entered the intersection and collided with a southbound Ford Escape on County Road 3, driven by a 36-year-old Nappanee woman.
The woman driving the vehicle that was struck and her 1-year-old passenger were both taken to Elkhart General Hospital with knee and elbow pain, chest abrasions and a cut to the mouth.
The woman driving the Trailblazer was cited for disregarding a stop sign.
