People who vote in St. Joseph County can now see exactly how their choices make a difference.

The county clerk’s office is offering Elections 101, a course that explains voting and common political terms. With the primary election coming up May 5, County Clerk Amy Rolfes is helping people understand how elections work and making the process less confusing.

The primary decides which candidates move on to the general election in November.

Elections 101 aims to ease worries about election day and get more young people involved in voting.
