South Bend Police investigating two Thursday night shootings

One person was injured in a shooting in South Bend.

Police say it happened around 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 23, on Studebaker Street in the city’s northwest side, between the South Bend Cemetery and the MLK Dream Center.

The man who was shot was transported to Memorial Hospital and his status is unknown.

Meanwhile, a person was injured in a second shooting just over an hour later in the 2600 block of Elwood Avenue. No information about that shooting has been released.
