One of downtown Elkhart’s fastest-growing traditions will soon return to Kardzhali Park.

The Elkhart Farmers Market opens for the season on May 2.

The market runs Saturdays from 9 to 1 through September 26, featuring fresh produce, baked goods, flowers and handcrafted items.

Visitors can also enjoy live music and themed events.

Now in its ninth season, organizers say the market has become a vibrant weekly gathering place celebrating local businesses and community connection.
