More details could soon emerge in an attempted murder case in Elkhart County.
18-year-old Xzavion Jerraid remains at the center of a sealed case, with formal accusations not yet publicly released.
During a recent court hearing, Deputy Prosecutor Don Pitzer said he plans to explore unsealing the case, while a judge indicated it may be possible with a formal motion.
According to The Goshen News, Jerraid was booked into the Elkhart County Jail on April 10, though records list no clear reason or upcoming hearings.
A public defender has now been appointed. Pretrial conference is set for May 21, with a jury trial scheduled for August 3.
