Indiana State Police troopers assigned to the Toll Road Post launched a high-visibility “Wolfpack Patrol” overnight Friday, May 22, into early Saturday morning as part of Memorial Day weekend enforcement efforts.

Troopers patrolled the Indiana Toll Road from border to border, targeting aggressive driving and impaired motorists during the operation.

According to ISP, the patrol resulted in 12 traffic citations, including three seatbelt violations, along with 22 warnings. Troopers also arrested four impaired drivers during the enforcement effort.

Police reported a total of 11 misdemeanor arrests and one felony arrest. One citation was issued for minor consuming alcohol.

Troopers also assisted nine motorists during the patrol. In total, six criminal defendants were identified, with four of them incarcerated.

Indiana State Police said similar high-visibility patrols will continue throughout the holiday weekend and beyond as troopers focus on impaired driving enforcement and criminal interdiction efforts aimed at improving roadway safety across the state.
