An Elkhart County man convicted in a 2024 burglary case has been sentenced. 

27-year-old Tyler Stewart was accused of helping steal a riding lawn mower and other equipment from a shed on Amber Valley Drive.

Surveillance video and license plate camera footage linked Stewart and another suspect to the theft. Investigators also found internet searches about hotwiring a John Deere mower.

The Goshen News says Stewart pleaded guilty to burglary and received a five-year sentence, including community corrections time and a suspended probationary period.
