A judge is taking additional time before ruling on an alleged unlicensed daycare operation in Goshen.
State officials claim dozens of children were being cared for at a County Road 42 residence without proper licensing. Investigators allege unsafe conditions were discovered during a recent search.
The women accused of operating the daycare dispute those claims and told the court investigators arrived during an unusually busy period.
The judge has asked both sides to submit additional filings by July 9 before deciding whether to issue a temporary shutdown order.
