Motorcyclist seriously injured in Elkhart County crash

A Bristol man was seriously hurt in a motorcycle crash Saturday evening, June 20, in Elkhart County.

The Sheriff’s Office says the 47-year-old man was riding a Yamaha V-Star on County Road 8 when he left the roadway and crashed.

Deputies found the man and the motorcycle about 40 feet off the road.

The man was flown by MedFlight to Memorial Hospital with extensive injuries. Investigators say he was driving with a suspended license.

Factors that led to the collision remain under investigation.
