A South Bend man will spend 15 years in federal prison after authorities found nearly five pounds of methamphetamine in his vehicle.
51-year-old Keith Jennings pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute meth.
Federal prosecutors say Jennings was pulled over in September of last year. A police K-9 alerted officers to the truck, leading to a search that uncovered more than 21-hundred grams of meth in the backseat area.
Jennings was sentenced Thursday to 180 months in prison, followed by 10 years of supervised release.
Several federal, state and local law enforcement agencies were involved in the investigation.
