A South Bend man will spend more than eleven years in federal prison for dealing methamphetamine.

28-year-old De’Angelo Alexander was sentenced to 135 months behind bars, followed by five years of supervised release.

Federal prosecutors say Alexander sold hundreds of grams of pure meth during several transactions. Investigators later searched his home and found another 119 grams of methamphetamine.

Alexander had pleaded guilty to distributing 50 grams or more of meth. The case involved federal agents, South Bend Police and the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office.
