Indiana Landmarks has released its annual list of the state’s 10 Most Endangered historic places to raise awareness and spark rescue efforts.

This year’s sites face threats ranging from neglect and abandonment to development pressure.

The 2026 list includes Cutler’s historic Adams Mill, Fortville’s Ayres House, Indianapolis’s Castle Hall, the New Albany City-County Building, and Evansville’s First Church of Christ, Scientist.

Other imperiled landmarks include the Plymouth Fire Station, La Porte’s Kiwanis Field, Rockport’s Lincoln Pioneer Village, Peru’s Shirk-Edwards House, and Charlestown’s Tunnel Mill Scout Reservation.

Since 1991, Indiana Landmarks has helped restore over 100 featured properties.
