Construction is moving forward on about 115 new homes in the Lafayette Falls neighborhood.

The expansion could bring the subdivision to nearly 400 homes, with one official entrance and exit.

Leonard Moretti, who lives in Lafayette Falls, says traffic has made it difficult to get into the neighborhood at times. He says a second entrance would help with access, including for first responders.

South Bend Fire Department leaders addressed the access concerns earlier this week.
