A Mishawaka man is facing felony charges following an alleged domestic violence incident and SWAT standoff.
40-year-old Adam Spencer is charged with strangulation, domestic battery and residential entry. Court documents accuse Spencer of attacking a victim at a home on Michigan Street August 23, then allegedly forcing his way back into the residence later.
Police say Spencer was located two days later at a home on Howard Street, where he allegedly ran to a camper and barricaded himself. Authorities say he eventually surrendered without further incident.
Spencer is due in court September 18.
