Visitors from as far away as Pennsylvania are making the trip to Bristol for the annual Corndog Festival at Congdon Park.

The event returns Saturday, September 12 with free admission, parking, shuttle service and entertainment.

The festival features more than 50 artisan vendors, 21 food trucks, three corndog stations, live music, games and a corndog eating contest.

Organizers say the event offers affordable family fun and a chance to showcase Bristol.
