Two Elkhart parents have pleaded guilty in the fentanyl and methamphetamine overdose death of their six-month-old child. 

Owen Miller and Nichole Neely each pleaded guilty to neglect of a dependent resulting in death, a Level 1 felony.

Court documents say the child’s autopsy showed fentanyl and meth in the system.

The Goshen News says other children at the home were also treated for fentanyl poisoning. Sentencing for both parents is scheduled for October 15.
