A man convicted of a 2023 burglary of a California Road home has been sentenced.

Jeremy Shult received two-and-a-half years for resisting law enforcement, a Level 6 felony, though court records indicate he has already served the time.

Prosecutors said Shult fled from officers and discarded a loaded handgun.

The Goshen News says burglary and unlawful handgun carrying charges were dismissed as part of the plea agreement.
