A Goshen woman will spend eight and a half years in prison after driving drunk, hitting a horse-drawn buggy and leaving the scene.
Jakaila Miracle was sentenced Tuesday in Kosciusko County.
The crash threw four adults from the buggy, and an infant less than a month old was flown to a Fort Wayne hospital.
Miracle was convicted of causing serious injuries while driving intoxicated, leaving the scene and battering a safety official.
