FDA classifies plant-based butter recall

Recall Alert
Recall Alert
The FDA has assigned a Class Two risk classification to a recall involving more than 1,300 cases of Miyoko’s Creamery European Style Salted Plant Milk Butter.
The product was recalled in September because of possible contamination. The FDA says the concern could include mold, yeast or E. coli. The butter was distributed in 10 states, including Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin.
A Class Two recall means the product could cause temporary or medically reversible health problems. Anyone who has the butter should throw it away.
