A major drug bust in Rochester resulted in the seizure of three pounds of meth, two pounds of methadone pills, 21 guns, and over $200,000 seized.

It started with a traffic stop. Officers found four grams of methamphetamine and $10,000 cash in a car being driven by 54-year-old Stephen Howard, according to a press release.

Then, officers with the Indiana State Police, Rochester Police, and Fulton County Sheriff’s Department searched Howard’s house in Rochester, where they allegedly made the bigger discovery.

Howard is facing federal charges of possession with the intent to distribute over 500 grams of meth, along with possessing firearms to further drug trafficking. Three others, 25-year-old Sarah Hine, 42-year-old Brandy Fletcher, and 48-year old William James, are in custody in Fulton County Jail on similar charges.

Neighbors described the neighborhood the bust occurred as quiet, and many of them told ABC 57 they were surprised when the bust occurred this week.
