South Bend Cubs seeking anthem singers for upcoming season

If you’ve ever watched the National Anthem singer at a South Bend Cubs game and thought to yourself: “I could do that,” then now’s your chance.

However, there’s not a lot of time to waste. The team stops accepting audition videos Friday at 5pm, as they search for the people that will sing the anthem before home games at Four Winds Field in the 2017 season.

DVDs of your anthem, no more than two minutes, are being accepted by mail, but you can also send a digital video through email. Finalists will be then contacted for a closed audition.

The Cubs streamlined the audition process last year after a huge increase in applicants after the renovation of the stadium.
