South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg in third forum featuring DNC Chair candidates

South Bend Mayor and Democratic National Committee Chairperson candidate Pete Buttigieg participated in a third meet the candidates forum featuring on Saturday, Feb. 4, in Detroit, Mich.

The Future Forum took place at the Wayne State University Community Arts Auditorium and featured the following speakers including DNC Chair Donna Brazile, Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan, Kansas City Mayor Sly James, Ohio state Rep. Alicia Reece, and United Steelworkers Local 1999 President Chuck Jones. Event also features candidate forums for the offices of secretary, treasurer, finance chair, vice chair for civic engagement and voter participation, vice chair at-large, and chair, moderated by Detroit Free Press Editorial Page Editor Stephen Henderson *

Besides Buttigieg, the candidates for chair are former Secretary of Labor Tom Perez, Rep. Keith Ellison, South Carolina Democratic Party Chairman Jaime Harrison, New Hampshire Democratic Party Chairman Ray Buckley, Idaho Democratic Party Executive Director Sally Boynton Brown, Fox News Political Analyst Jehmu Greene, Peter Pecarsky, Sam Ronan, Vincent Tolliver, and Robert Vinson Brannum *

The election for chair takes place at the full DNC meeting in Atlanta, Feb. 23 – 26.

We need to help get Mayor Buttigieg chosen for the DNC! That way he won’t be the mayor anymore!
