Notre Dame’s Holy Half Marathon hailed as a big success

The 13th Annual Holy Half Marathon at Notre Dame was a big success over the weekend.

Around 1700 members of the University community and other runners from across the country ran in Saturday’s Holy Half Marathon and 10K events, according to the Notre Dame Observer.

The half marathon and 10K took participants on a run throughout the University’s campus.

The event began as an event created by students for Lent and has always enjoyed a great turnout. The run is a charity event, and this year the Holy Half will make donations to four different Notre Dame-affiliated or South Bend charities.

The weather was on their side this year: Last year’s event was snowed out.
