A woman accused of beating her mother to death has pleaded guilty.

60-year-old Annette Beedle has agreed to plead guilty but mentally ill in the death of 85-year-old Mary Claypool of Mishawaka.

It was back on March 8 when Claypool was put on life support after Beedle beat her with a fire extinguisher, then called 911 and admitted to the crime.

Beedle’s sentencing is expected to take place later this month.
