Cassopolis man killed in crash in Jefferson Township

A Cassopolis man was killed in a crash in Jefferson Township in Cass County.
Cass County Sheriff’s deputies were called to Robinson Road south of Buffalo Lane around 3:15 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 22.
Their investigation showed a vehicle driven by Daniel Albert Dolan, 52, lost control going around a curve on Robinson Road, crossed the center line and was struck broadside by a large grain hauling truck.
Dolan was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 23-year-old Vandalia man driving the truck was not injured.
The circumstances that led to the crash remain under investigation.
