Indiana State Police have concluded their investigation into a suspect that may have been involved in the Delphi murders of two young girls.

In a statement Tuesday, the state police say that they can’t “specifically include or exclude” Daniel Nations as a suspect in the murders of 14-year-old Liberty German and 13-year-old Abigail Williams.

Nations was initially arrested on Sept. 25 in El Paso County, Colorado on an unrelated charge. Authorities there told the Indiana State Police four days later that he may have been tied to the murder of the Delphi girls.

Two detectives have came and went from Colorado since then and continue to review information about Nations, but have not named him as a suspect.

State police also reiterated their stance that “someone, somewhere has information” on the murders of the Delphi girls and urges people to come forward with information.
