Notre Dame police investigating possible sexual battery

Notre Dame police are investigating a sexual offense that took place this month.

A woman told police that she encountered a stocky white man in his 20s or 30s while walking between Leahy Drive and the D-Bulla Parking lot at about 11:30 p.m. last Friday.

She says she walked by the man, who then turned around and followed her. The South Bend Tribune then reports he touched her in a “non-consensual sexual” way and then fled.

It’s not specified in the Notre Dame police logs exactly what kind of contact it was, but it’s listed as “sexual battery,” which is defined in a number of ways by Indiana law.

The man is listed as 5’8 and is seen in the photo wearing a ball cap and a dark jacket with light brown on the shoulders and sleeves.

If you know who this man is, contact Notre Dame police.
