A man found pinned underneath a vehicle in South Bend was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police were called to the 56200 block of Mayflower Road, near Linden Ave., just before 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27, where they found the man’s body, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

The man had been working on the vehicle which slipped off the equipment holding it up, according to police who spoke with WSBT-TV.
