Paw Paw Schools were shut down Monday, and one student was arrested, after a threat was made.

The school district sent out a message on Sunday, but didn’t give specifics about the threat. Automated phone calls were made to parents to inform them that classes would be cancelled at Paw Paw Schools.

The Trinity Lutheran School in Paw Paw also cancelled their classes on Monday.

The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department says the student who allegedly made the threat has been arrested. He’s being held at the Allegan County Juvenile Center on multiple charges. The 15-year-old allegedly was discovered with Molotov cocktails, pipe bomb materials, and two guns in his home, according to WOOD-TV.

Michigan’s attorney general’s office says a record number of tips were reported in February.
