It’s almost that time of year for scavengers and deal-seekers to turn Notre Dame student trash into treasure.

The university is hosting its annual Old2Gold sale on Saturday, June 9th at the St. Joseph County 4-H Fairgrounds on Ironwood Road.

In the five years of the sale, Notre Dame has been able to raise over $174,000 for local charitable organizations. This year, 20 such organizations will benefit from this year’s massive sale, which include annual staples like bicycles, refrigerators, storage bins, clothing, furniture, and other items that Notre Dame students have discarded before clearing out of their student housing this summer.

In addition, some furniture from Notre Dame Surplus will be made available.

Admission is $5 per person, with children 6 and younger admitted free. Ticket sales start at 6 a.m., with the parking lot open at 4 a.m.
