An autopsy has been scheduled for Friday after a person was found dead in a home in Elkhart.
Police were called to the house in the 700 block of Hiawatha Drive shortly before 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, and discovered the body.
The Elkhart County Homicide Unit has joined the investigation. No name has been released and no other details have been made available.
