Elkhart County has seen the best job growth since the recession.

That claim was made offical by Bloomberg’s analysis of data from the U.S. Department of Labor.

The Elkhart-Goshen region has added over 41,000 jobs since 2009, the highest in the United States. Kokomo was third overall and Columbus, Indiana came in at 13th overall.

Just one city in Michigan made the top 50 list: Grand Rapids at 19th.

The list was determined by the net change of employment and unemployed in each metro area, then dividing the figures by labor force levels.

Rounding out the top 5: 2. Greeley, Colorado; 4. Provo-Orem, Utah; 5. Austin, Texas.

Here’s the complete list.
