A man was airlifted to the hospital after a motorcycle crash in Ontwa Township.

The collision happened around 7:30 p.m. on Friday, July 13, on Eagle Lake Road near the east part of Eagle Lake.

The man was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, according to Ontwa Township-Edwardsburg Police.

The investigation into the cause of the crash is still underway.

A 32-year-old Dowagiac woman was taken to the hospital after a head-on crash. The collision happened around 2:20 a.m. on Saturday, July 14, at the intersection of Dailey Road and Hospital Street in Jefferson Township, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

The woman was traveling northbound on Dailey Road when she hit a southbound vehicle, driven by a 22-year-old Edwardsburg man, the sheriff’s office reported.

The woman’s injuries were described as minor, according to the sheriff’s office.
