LaGrange County woman faces OWI charge after driving vehicle into lake

A woman in LaGrange County faces charges after police say she drove a car into a lake.

Officers responded to Stone Lake around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, Sep. 23, and found a woman at a nearby home who was intoxicated.

The woman was allegedly traveling on County Road 1150 when she missed a turn, went off the road, and hit a boat and a dock on her way into the lake, officers said.

She’s been charged with a misdemeanor charge of OWI.
