A body found in the St. Joseph River in Elkhart has been identified.

David Newman, 67, was found around 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Sep. 10, on the north side of the river near Lexington Avenue and Vine Street.

ABC 57 reports Newman’s death has been ruled accidental. No foul play is suspected.
