Three people have been arrested for allegedly dealing methamphetamine in area counties.

It began last Thursday, Oct. 24, when police learned that a wanted man was at a home in the 1500 block of N. 1200 W. in Noble County.

When officers arrived, they found Walter Spriggs, 49 of Cromwell, who had an active warrant out of Wabash County. He was arrested and accused of dealing methamphetamine.

The following day, undercover police purchased 10.5 grams of heroin and 112 grams of methamphetamine in Marshall County. Three days later, on Oct. 28, police purchased an additional 198 grams of methamphetamine from the same men.

ABC 57 reports Joseph Ladd, 36, and Kerry Perry, 37, both from South Bend, were arrested and booked in the Marshall County Jail on suspicion of dealing methamphetamine.

According to the Narcotics Enforcement Team (NET) 43, the agency has purchased or seized more than a pound of methamphetamine during the month of October.

NET 43 is made up of officers from the Warsaw and Winona Lake police departments, the Indiana State Police and the Kosciukso County Sheriff’s Office.
