Some 4H events will still happen at Elkhart County Fairgrounds

It’s being called a Summer Showcase, and it will happen July 24th- Aug.1st. Livestock shows will not be open to the public and each family will only be allowed to have two people on the fairgrounds in addition to 4H members.

Parents that have concerns about exposure can still have their children compete virtually, and animals are not allowed to stay on the property after their showing. They also will not be giving any official judgment on non-livestock projects.

The Elkhart Truth reports details for the annual livestock auction are still pending.
