Michigan’s Unemployment Insurance Agency says more than 2.1 million workers in the state have been paid more than $11 billion in state and federal benefits related to the pandemic since March 15.

The state says they have also cleared the majority of accounts that had been flagged for additional confirmation due to criminal attacks.

The UIA Director says their focus is getting 100% of eligible Michigan workers 100% of the benefits they deserve. The state said Friday they were at 93% paid or approved.
