A man is hurt after being crushed by a fallen tree Sunday.

Cass County police were called to the 18,000 block of Brownsville Road just after 6 p.m., where they found a 40-year-old man suffering from injuries.

Police report he had been trying to remove trees from his property when one of them fell on top of him. His 14-year-old son was able to remove the tree before calling for help.
