Jimtown High School employee resigns amid allegations of inappropriate social media relationship with student

A Jimtown High School employee has resigned after school administrators learned of an alleged inappropriate online relationship the worker had with a student.

Parents received an email about the incident on Saturday, May 22.

Baugo Schools Superintendent Byron Sanders wrote that the employee quit on Friday and that the district will not tolerate inappropriate comments made to their students.

Sanders wrote that corrective action is being taken and that they have contacted local law enforcement and the Department of Child Services.
