Mishawaka hosting 3 National Night Out events on Tuesday evening

On Tuesday Aug. 3, neighborhoods throughout the city of Mishawaka are being invited to join forces with thousand of communities nationwide for the Annual National Night Out.

The National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness in our neighborhoods and business districts. Support is generated for local anti-crime efforts and to strengthen neighborhood spirit.

  • Twin Branch Watch Assoc. Twin in Branch Park: 5:45 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • E. 4th St. Neighborhood Watch in Merrifield Park: 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • The Oaks Neighborhood Watch in Merrifield Park: 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Members of the Mishawaka Police Department’s Community Relations Unit will be assisting the Neighborhood Watch Coordinators. Mishawaka Police Officers will be answering any question or concerns citizens might have. Also attending will be City of Mishawaka – City Officials.
