A man was killed and a woman critically hurt in an off road vehicle crash in Van Buren County.

Officers were called to the 76000 block of 33rd street in Porter Township on Sunday, August 1.

There they found a 41-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman on the ground with a four wheeler on its side.

Officers say they hit a tree and were ejected.

The woman was taken to a hospital in Kalamazoo for treatment.
