Man injured in shooting near North Johnson and Rupel Street in South Bend

One person was taken to the hospital after a shooting in South Bend.

The shooting happened around 2:40 a.m. on Saturday, Sep. 18, near the intersection of North Johnson and Rupel Street.

Around 40 shots were fired, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

There was no immediate word about the extent of the victim’s injuries.
