Days after addressing his former team for the last time, Brian Kelly has officially been announced as the next head coach of LSU.
On Tuesday, Kelly’s contract details were released. According to WBRZ, he will be taking home around $9 million in his first year.
The contract also includes lucrative bonuses, a million-dollar interest free loan to buy a home in Baton Rouge.

Kelly spent the last 12 seasons with Notre Dame as their head football coach. So far none of his assistant coaches are following Kelly to LSU.
