Several sports agencies, including Sports Illustrated, report that Notre Dame Defensive Coordinator Marcus Freeman is expected to be named the next Head Coach of Notre Dame Football.

This announcement comes on the same day that former head coach Brian Kelly was formally introduced as the head football coach for the LSU Tigers.

Tommy Rees, the Fighting Irish Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach, is apparently staying at Notre Dame, as well, according to a video posted on the Notre Dame Football Twitter account.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
