A Kosciusko County inmate is facing charges after he allegedly smuggled fentanyl into the jail.

It was on Monday, March 14, when an inmate suffered a medical emergency in his cell and was given Narcan to safe his life.

The inmate told officers he received drugs from a fellow inmate, identified as Franklin Hibshman Jr.

The inmate said he was warned by Hibshman to be careful because of the drug’s strength.

Hibshman has been charged with possession and dealing in a narcotic drug and trafficking with an inmate.
