The Indiana Court of Appeals visited Adams High School to give students an opportunity to see the justice system at work.

The court was hearing oral arguments in a current case appeal on Monday as part of their Appeals on Wheels program. It sends the state’s second-highest court to schools and courthouses around Indiana and give students and adults the chance to understand the court process.

WNDU reports that the program began in 2001 and has visited all 92 counties during 600 stops. Everyone at John Adams was able to attend the session in the school auditorium.
