The St. Joseph County Fatal Alcohol Crash Team is investigating a crash that happened at State Road 2 and Quince Road.

The crash happened early Sunday night, July 10, when an SUV and a sedan collided.

The force of the crash sent the SUV into the backyard of a home near the intersection. There were four passengers in the vehicle, including three children who were injured.

A 13 year-old suffered a broken leg, a 5 year-old was flown to Indianapolis with a brain bleed, and a 2 year-old with a head injury and possible internal bleeding.

The two youngest were not in car seats.

The two drivers were uninjured.

The crash remains under investigation by the St. Joseph County Fatal Crash Team.
