The River Bend Film Festival, one of the most highly anticipated film events in the region, is launching on Thursday, April 20th, at the Goshen Theater, celebrating 20 years of cinematic art.

For four days, the festival will host special events featuring industry guests as well as an independent film, Q&As, workshops, and parties.

Events include opening night’s “Well Crafted Local Documentaries”, Saturday’s “The Bergamot: State of Unity” documentary and concert, Friday’s “Rudy” 30th-anniversary screening with Director David Anspaugh, an improv workshop conducted by groundlings graduate Madi Goff and a special screening with Mary Chieffo of Star Trek fame. The River Bend Film Festival is a showcase of independent filmmaking, established in 2002 by a team of filmmakers and film enthusiasts in South Bend, Indiana. The festival brings together filmmakers and film lovers through screenings, workshops, guest appearances by industry professionals, and special events. For 20 years, the River Bend Film Festival has been a celebration of the film industry and the art of filmmaking.
